The new Terme Sensoriali spa resort at Chianciano Terme in Tuscany (Italy) combines innovative technology and treatments advocating naturopathy principles.
Situated not far from the city of Siena, Chianciano Terme is one of the most important spa resorts in Europe, whose beneficial thermal water springs were already known to both the Etruscans and the Romans. The innovative Terme Sensoriali (Sensory Spa) complex, designed by architect Paolo Bodega, is set in the Acqua Santa Park in Chianciano Terme in Tuscany (central Italy).
The Terme Sensoriali Spa mixes innovative technology with treatments based on naturopathy to help rebalance the energetic fields by means of a harmonious use of the five basic elements (water, fire, earth, air, ether) which make up the universe, including human beings.

The staff will provide more detailed explanations of the various treatments and recommend four different programs, known as "paths of the senses": relaxing, energizing, purifying and balancing.
The Terme Sensoriali are open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. throughout the year. Advance booking is not required. Admission its € 36.00 and allows guests free, self-managed use of the full range of treatments for a period of three-and-a-half hours. Additional time may be bought, but this is discouraged since over-treatment should be avoided for maximum benefit. The cost includes a kit with bathrobe, towel, slippers, bath cap and shower gel. Suitable drinks are provided at appropriate times.
Wellness and beauty treatments offered at the Centro Benessere (Wellness salon) on the upper floor are not included in the price of the ticket and will be charged separately. Advanced booking is advised.
